This weekend has been a busy one for me. Yesterday started out meeting some of my friends for breakfast then heading over to FIDM to check out the Costume display for all of the wardrobe nominated for the Oscars.  Some of them are painfully bad - cast plastic armor for example, but some were astounding.  The Tempest… Very drool worthy!
After that I left them to head to a photo shoot in Griffith Park.  Part two of my shoots with TwoTwentyTwo clothing.  This is a continuation of the Alice inspired wardrobe shoots (the first was the Red Queen) The hair and Make up were strong and beautiful, as was the model, Emily Lazar.
Hair was by Nancy Morales, Make up by Sarah Anstead and wardrobe was designed and styled by Christine of TwoTwentyTwo clothing.
Above is a sneak peek of one of the images from the shoot.  I’ll post more over at flickr as soon as I finish editing them!  I currently have two shoots to retouch, and both have so many great images that I am retouching more than I probably should!  I’m terrible at editing down to a few good ones!  That said, I’m thrilled to be working with so many super talented artists!
Today was spent at the Rosebowl Flea Market selling vintage clothing and jewelry.  I am newly inspired to create more jewelry!  And to list the pieces I have done already on Etsy… Which requires another photoshoot!  Keep your eyes open, I’ll  be posting updates soon!

Girl in a gilded cage
This is from my 10 in 1 Series - Circus Side Shows… this model is Alexis, and a girl I dated was kind enough to build a cage for me in her garage for the set.  I’m fairly pleased with the results on this one.  Alexis has the most beautiful eyes! She was perfect for this shoot.
Lighting was those mechanic’s/construction hot lights… Back before I had strobes. How different things were back then! (if you look at the Misspelled! copyright - this is from 2006) My how far I’ve come. What do you think of this image?

Welcome to my new follows!  I’m excited to see more activity on my tumbler - and will start posting more and more of my random images up here.
This image is of Lacy Soto from a Morrissey inspired shoot we did last year. She makes a hot boi.  If you want to see more images of her, you can follow her here at http://lacyceleste.tumblr.com/
We wandered around Hollywood for this shoot and in my neighborhood.  It was a really fun day.  I used all available light - with a reflector.

Hair: Tabitha Bojalil
